EliteTrim™ -- An Affordable Alternative to Plaster!
Architecturally Richer Than Wood!
Cornice moulding, which is also referred to as cove or crown moulding has graced cottages and castles alike for centuries. While plaster is the foundation of this decoration, it is not found in modern homes very often due to the cost, difficulty and length of time for installation, as well as the amount of clean up afterward. While plaster used to be your only way to go, you now have choices. With modern breakthroughs and modifications to tried and true applications Elite Trimworks has created “EliteTrim,” and offer it in MDF and Hardwood (American Poplar, Red Oak, Maple or Cherry.)
With the ease of installation and finishes in a variety of decorative patterns and profiles, you can’t go wrong. MDF is less likely to warp or expand due to the lack of grain and the cost is far less than solid wood. All MDF “EliteTrim” comes primed white so painting is a charm and the need for solid wood or even finger jointed pine is eliminated. You put it up with a few brad nails, paint it and you are done. It is a wonderful edition where hardwood is not required.
Using a process which Elite Trimworks has adapted from the picture frame industry in Italy, we can now apply a pattern using wood paste to any wooden trim. Allowing us to adapt Hardwood trims to be used for more architecturally rich rooms, where you might want something a little more than the MDF texture, especially where a stained finished is what you are trying to achieve.
Depending on your project and the room you are trying to work in and your preference; you have options to work with now. Our MDF mouldings come in a variety of types and patters and ship within a day of ordering and usually arrive within three to five business days any where in the world. The Hardwood mouldings which come in the Symmetrical line are being made to order and will require two to three weeks for shipping to any destination.

Wainscoting
Wainscoting is a decorative paneling that commonly adorns the lower part of walls and stairways. It can be found in upscale homes, offices, conference rooms and other assorted commercial spaces. Wainscot adds architectural interest and detail to otherwise bare walls.
Wainscoting helps make a room look interesting and unique. Even with today's modern paint and wallpapers, wainscoting still serves its intended protective purpose; wainscoting is still a cost effective way to enrich the house. However people use it most often because of the way it transforms a bland space into an elegant room by adding interesting detail to walls that don't otherwise have any built-in character.
Beadboard
Wainscoting Beadboard is a classic element used in the traditional and cottage-style designs,”. “However, the neutral finish and clean lines makes it an ideal fit for contemporary decor schemes.
Beadboard panels are great in any space where durability is more important than formality, and since they are manufactured in 4' x 8' sheets, they’re much easier to install than traditional tongue-and-groove panels.
